Magic, Travelling & Circuses is a 1996 Canadian-American fantasy animated film written and directed by Victor Yearts. Produced by Universal Pictures and Wide Slope Animation, the film follows the story of the lives of a group of unrelated children with majestic abilities who are taken by a circus show runner to be shown off at freak shows. It was the first film released after Multimedia Animation/Gingo executive Michael Wildshill became CEO of Universal Pictures' animation group.
The film was released in theaters on July 26, 1996 in the United States. It made $83.2 million worldwide on a production budget of $35 million. The film was released on home media on December 3, 1996. When released in theaters, it was preceded by The Whackems short, Magilli's Boombox Party.
